Studio d vs Aspekte :)

In this post I would like to review two very important books for any German learner : Studio d and Aspekte.

I have used Studio d for level A1 to B1 and Aspekte from B2.1 to C1 :)

Personally for me, it was quite difficult to switch from Studio d to Aspekte. Why? 

• For starters, Studio d is very (read very) colourful :D It is filled with colorful ilustrations that makes it look very attractive and interesting.
• Studio d has all the Grammar part consolidated at the end of the book.
• Very interesting for people like me who cannot concentrate unless book has lot of colorful pictures.

Aspekte on the other hand is slightly different. Each lesson is divided into parts (teil) i.e Lesen, Hoeren, Grammatik, Sprechen etc.

• So, each lesson focus on all 4 parts of the language. So no part is ignored.
• The book is loaded with tons of long, detailed texts (I used it for B2.1-C1 so that justifies it.)
• In the end, the book has all the consolidatd grammar as one section.
• This intermediate/advanced DVD-based textbook series is designed for the development of vocabulary, grammatical structures and conversation.
• The workbook contains additional exercises as well as tools for self-evaluation (so you know about your progress).
• This book prepares the learner for reading longer authentic German texts.

Zum Schluss.... the question remains.. Which one to use?

 Id use both in the same order!!! Studio d for beginners and Aspekte for the advanced level :D I love both the books. Both are great!!! (For reasons listed above :P ) Afterall Je mehr desto besser :)   Und wie wir schon wissen  ,
